Greeley Myers

In his role, Greeley oversees the Office of Alumni and Constituent Relations and the Annual Giving Programs at SU. Prior to being named Assistant Vice President for Alumni Relations and Annual Giving in 2023, Greeley joined the SU team in 2014 as Assistant Vice President for Advancement where he has served in overseeing many of the day-to-day fundraising activities of the University.
Greeley graduated with a Bachelor of Arts from McMurry University, in 1993, a Master of Theological Studies from Duke University in 1995, and a Doctorate of Education in Educational Leadership from Walden University in 2016. Greeley started his career in higher education in alumni relations at his alma mater, McMurry University, where he supervised the Alumni and Annual Giving office from 2005-2011. In this role, he was responsible for the planning and implementation of alumni gatherings and annual alumni events, including McMurry’s well-known Homecoming events. Greeley also coordinated the Alumni portion of McMurry’s $39 Million Comprehensive Campaign completed in 2010.
Greeley and his wife, Carrie are proud parents of three wonderful children and the entire Myers family loves being part of the Shenandoah family.
Harley Ryan ’16

Harley Ryan serves as the assistant director of alumni & constituent relations for Shenandoah University and is responsible for all alumni print and online communications material. Harley holds an associate of arts and sciences degree from Lord Fairfax Community College (Major: Liberal Arts) and a bachelor of arts degree from Shenandoah University (Major: Mass Communications/Minor: Business Administration). While studying at Shenandoah, she gained plenty of work experience through multiple internships. Harley had the opportunity to intern with SU’s Office of Marketing & Communications’ Assistant Creative Director and Senior Designer Colby Smith, Sodexo, the City of Winchester and the Shenandoah Valley Discovery Museum. Harley is a Winchester native and can’t be happier to call her alma mater her home.
Myles Hairston ’14, ’16

Myles Hairston is the associate director of alumni and advancement events for Shenandoah University and is responsible for events such as homecoming, reunions, award receptions, and more. Alumnus Hairston holds a Bachelor of Arts and Science (Major: Mass Communications) and a Master of Business Administration. While studying at Shenandoah, he was heavily involved with student events and is now the staff advisor for the Harambee Gospel Choir. Before transitioning to the Office of Advancement, Hairston oversaw student events and Brandt Student Center operations for over 5 years. In 2022 Hairston received the Pillar Award at the Black Excellence Gala and was recognized as the 2022 Unsung Hero by the Black Alumni Network in 2023.
Ciarra Berry ’22

Ciarra Berry serves as the alumni relations coordinator for Shenandoah University and is responsible for assisting the Office of Alumni and Constituent Relations with tasks related to the Alumni Board of Directors, finances, communications and events. Ciarra holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from Shenandoah University (Major: Media and Communication/Minor: Business Administration). While studying at Shenandoah, she gained work experience through an internship as well as her multiple positions in the Brandt Student Center (BSC). Ciarra had the opportunity to intern in the Office of Student Leadership and Development as the leadership and events assistant. She began working in the BSC as an event services associate her first-year of undergrad, then became a student building supervisor, and eventually, the graduate assistant of Campus Activities Network. Throughout her time working in the BSC, Ciarra received awards for her service to the university. She is a first-generation college graduate and is currently working towards getting her masters degree in organizational leadership at Shenandoah University.
